Jos Van Doorsselaere

Dr. Van Doorsselaere is a researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Lab of the VUB, member of the Applied Research team.

Maaike Fobelets

Dr. Maaike Fobelets is doctor in social health sciences and holds a master in midwifery. She currently works as a research coordinator of the nursing and midwifery department at the Erasmushogeschool Brussel and as a post-doctoral researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. 

Joris Vaneyghen

Joris Vaneyghen is researcher at the Knowledge Center Artificial Intelligence. He focuses on applying machine learning and smart devices to rehabilitation.

Ben Minnaert

Dr. ir. Ben Minnaert is senior researcher at University College Odisee. As a member of the research group UCE (“User Centered Applied Research in Electronics-ICT”), he focuses on IoT-applications and smart devices.

Evelien De wachter

Evelien De wachter is Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, lecturer and researcher at University College Odisee.

Eva Swinnen

Dr. Eva Swinnen obtained her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2014. She works as a professor neurological rehabilitation and rehabilitation technology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Research Group Rehabilitation Research (RERE). The focus of her research is on rehabilitation with the use of robotics and technology (exoskeletons, virtual reality, gaming, tDCS …) in central neurological patients.

Ruben Debeuf

Ruben Debeuf is PhD student Physiotherapy at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, research group Rehabilitation Research (RERE). His doctoral research focuses on the implementation of new technologies (smart devices and mobile application) for the rehabilitation of neurological patients and elderly.
